Why a text instead of voicemail
Many customers would rather text than leave a message, and a text arrives while they are still deciding who to hire. A quick reply from a real business number shows you got their call, even if you are on a job.
Kaimaz Front Desk / Missed call text back
Callers who reach voicemail can easily call the next company instead. Missed call text back sends the caller a text from your business number as soon as a call goes unanswered, and Kaimaz Front Desk takes it from there: it asks what they need, answers basic questions from your approved info, and books an estimate.
You're on a roof, under a house, or on a pour. The call rings out or goes to voicemail.
Something like: "Sorry we missed your call! This is [your business]. What can we help with?" Wording is yours to approve.
It asks your questions, flags emergencies to you, and offers open estimate times from your calendar.
Name, number, job type, location, urgency, budget range and the booked time, by text or email.

You approve the first text, the questions the assistant asks, which jobs count as emergencies, the hours it books into, and any prices it is allowed to share. You can pause it at any time and take a conversation over yourself.
A short lead summary for each conversation: name, number, the job, the address or zip, how urgent it is, the budget range they picked, and the booked estimate time. Emergencies are sent to you right away instead of waiting for the summary.
When you do answer, nothing changes. Missed call text back only steps in when a call is missed, and AI phone answering is a separate add-on if you want calls picked up by voice as well.
Your business line is set up so that when a call isn't answered, the caller automatically receives a text from your number. Replies go to the AI assistant, which continues the conversation and books the estimate.
Usually not. In most setups you keep your existing number. We confirm what works with your phone provider during setup.
Replying by text to someone who just called your business is generally treated differently from cold marketing texts, but texting rules (TCPA, carrier A2P 10DLC registration) still apply. We register the texting number and keep messages to the customer's inquiry, with opt-out instructions.
